At Scent Bakery, we believe that candles are more than just wax and wick. They are a way to bring warmth and comfort into your home. That's why we hand-pour each candle with care, using only the finest ingredients and fragrances. For you to enjoy our candles safely, please follow the below instructions;

1. Trim your wick to 5mm before each lighting.

2. When burning your candle for the first time, leave the candle lit for 3-4 hours to avoid tunnelling.

3. Don't burn your candle for longer than 4 hours at a time. 

4. Never leave a burning candle unattended. Extinguish your candles when you leave a room or before going to sleep.

5. Burn your candle on a flat, heat resistant surface.

6. Keep your burning candles away from children, pets and flammable materials.

For you to enjoy our reed diffusers, please review the below instructions.

1. Do not place directly on surfaces, accidental spillage may cause damage.

2. Liquid is flammable. Do not light the reeds.

3. Use in well ventilated areas.

4.   Ensure your Reed Diffuser is placed out of reach of children and pets.

5. Refresh the reeds every 3-4 days by flipping them over. 

6. Wash hands thoroughly after coming in contact with the oil (after removing the cap). 

Our Pillar Candles (Bakery Candles) are hand-crafted individually by our skilled artisan who ensure that each one is of the highest quality. The longevity of these candles will partly depend on how you burn it. Please follow the below instructions so that you get the best look and performance out of your candle.

1.  Most importantly, never leave a candle unattended. Always burn within sight, keep away from flammable objects and away from draughts. 

2. Always keep away from children and pets.

3. Never move your candle while burning as the wax can be hot and can spill. 

4. Always trip the wick to 5mm before lighting each time and ON A HEAT PROOF PLATE.

5. When burning the pillar candle for the first time it must be blown out before it reaches the edge of the pillar, leaving at least a 1cm rim. This ensures the pillar candle to not spill over the sides. 

6. After blowing out the pillar candle allow it to fully reset before lighting again. 

7. Don't burn your candle for longer than 4 hours at a time.
